There is a time and there are circumstances when loyalty to one’s family is misplaced and will lead you down some dark alleys only to arrive and find yourself lost.

Roman Carruthers is that man.

Called back home from Atlanta where he is making lots of money, he finds his father in a coma after a car accident that was no accident, and a younger brother in debt to the BBB gang led by two brothers.

The Carruthers family own the local crematorium and ever since their mother disappeared, the locals have always asked if their father murdered their mother. Her disappearance has never been forgotten both by townspeople but also by the three children, all of whom are traumatised and stuck to some degree in the time she went missing. Roman needs a dominatrix, Dante is addicted to drink and drugs and Neveah holds the family together but also has relationships that are doomed to failure.

In trying to solve Dante’s problems, Roman leads his family further and further away from what they want, asking them constantly for their loyalty and trust. It is misplaced.

This is an inferno of violence; dark and hot. It is also Dante’s inferno.

Everything burns.
