Number three in the Paddington series and definitely the weakest of them.

Paddington receives a letter from his Aunt Lucy’s home saying that she is not herself and so he and the Brown family fly out. It turns out that they need to find El Dorado, which is where Paddington comes from. Along the way they meet Captain Coward who tries to stop them and gain the gold for himself and a nun in the form of Olivia Coleman who helps them.

I only laughed once and that was when Paddington fluffed up his fur and it all stood out over his head as if he had had an electric shock. Other than that, the whole film was very tame. Not a patch on Paddington 2 and his prison friends. Even Mrs Brown is played by a different actor.
